Claire Liddle, will teach a soothing restorative yoga practice that allows you to rest fully in postures supported by props (blankets, bolsters, etc.). When supported with props, the body relaxes and opens, releasing tension. Restorative poses offer benefits to both the body and mind, for conditions ranging from insomnia to chronic pain to migraines. Teresa Bennett Yates will offer a sound bath experience while you are resting deeply to help you let go of tension in the body and reduce distracting thoughts. The sound and vibration of the crystal bowls and other instruments leave you in a blissful state. These combined practices promote wellness at multiple levels of your being. No previous experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat, blanket and props that you need for a comfortable rest.
