
Summer brings a natural sense energy, with heat that can easily overflow and show up as impatience or a sense of overstimulation. This retreat offers a cooling space with a calm pace to collect and connect with yourself.
We will move through a cooling, restful Restorative Yoga practice with Savasana (resting pose) including hands-on assists and Reiki techniques as desired to soothe the mind and body during this warmest part of the year. Continued rest and calm will be offered through a guided mediation accompanied by a Sound Bath Experience. As your body settles into stillness, the healing vibrations of sound will move through you, offering an invitation to release all you desire to release.
No prior experience with yoga is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to arrive as you are. Registration will be limited to keep the experience intimate.
The retreat will be held at Cloud 9’s Healing Cottage, a serene setting, in Calabash, NC, within 8 minutes or so of the NC/SC boundary line. Bring your own mat, props and blankets, if available. Dress for comfort. Cooling bites and drinks will be available.
